FOOD PANTRY MINISTRY
Freedom Fellowship's heart is to meet the needs of others. Not only the spiritual needs, but also the physical needs. If you are interested or feel led to help in our Food Pantry please contact the church office for details.
What started out as sack lunches on Sunday after church, has grown into this wonderful ministry that continues to bless hundreds of people. We work with the Concho Valley Food Bank, local grocery stores and the people of Freedom Fellowship to gather food and hygiene products. Although we give out food here, that is not our main goal and purpose. We love each and every one of you, and want to see you walk in all that God has for you. That is why each person has personal ministry time with one of our Food Pantry Ministry Team. These people are here because they truly love and care for you. These people are Prayer Warriors, not government agents. There is no criteria for being able to receive food from this pantry, so please don’t feel like you need to lie or qualify under a certain budget. We know hard times ourselves, that’s why we are here to help. We know our little box of food will not fulfill all of your needs, but we know a King that can. We desire to bless as many people as possible, but also want to make sure we have enough food to go around. We have seen and heard so many wonderful testimonies of how this Food Pantry is able to bless people, and we want to continue to do so. Please, if you have any special prayer request or needs, please discuss that with our ministry team. Please keep us in your prayers as we grow and partner with us to bless people. If there’s food in your box that you don’t like or need, please pass it on and give it away. Maybe even cook a meal for someone less fortunate than yourself.
Jesus said –
”Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” Luke 6:38 (NLT)
When you give with the right attitude and heart, God will bless whatever you give, even if it may seem small to you. Sometimes it may even be a smile, or an encouraging word that someone needs to hear. Our prayer when you leave this pantry is that you feel loved and cared for. May God continue to bless you and keep you.
